Download from an imageboard using LF

This is an exclusive preview of an LF project.

LF, Liquid Fusion was a concept introduced late last year.  It has gone 3 years of rigorous development and is now the state-of-the-art programming platform that can revolutionize your programming concepts.

I had introduced LF briefly in my blog earlier but this time i have got an actual project to show you. One of the countless number of features of LF is the data manipulation from a web browser. Take for example, an imageboard. Simply stating, an imageboard is a forum that concentrates on images. What about it? You may ask. Often people  may need a software to download all the  images from a forum, a blog or even Flickr. What do you do? Hacking is not a friendly option. But  we sure can manipulate their data through the browser. LF add this feature where you can download the entire images from  an imageboard within seconds.

The interface is pretty primitive, but it was made in 5 minutes. It was used to download 350 images from different categories automatically. The concept is simple. Take the image from the browser cache. The LF program on the other hand ran into 4 lines. Woah! Pretty cool right? That interface you see is an HTML page in the LF browser. Amazing!

Intype

“In Type we trust”

Well I’m not absolutely sure but the ‘editor’ speaks justice to what is written at their homepage Its good. really good and it is free.

Intype is a powerful and intuitive code editor for Windows with lightning fast response. It is easily extensible and customizable, thanks in part to its support for scripting and native plug-ins. It makes development in any programming or scripting language quick and easy. “

I tried Intype and found it to be surprisingly fast..yeah..somewhat near to the so-called ‘lightning fast”. My quest for a good editor started from

1)Notepad: Well you can’t dismiss good old’ Notepad right away because its still a good editor even now.Still very reliable, simple and blah blah blah.

(Wordpad ??? yeah notepad, wordpad whatever)

2)PHP designer is a very good editor with lots of features but its very “memory consuming” for me.

3)Dreamweaver :No Comments( Still i will force one out!Loading time is so inspiring. ;-) )

4)Most of my coding was with this buddy, EditPlus. Its quite fast versatile and reliable.

5)Notepad++ I haven’t used it much but is also good especially with themes and all.

6)InType : I think i am gonna use this for a while but a few basic interface disabilities like “Where the hell is the close button for the tabs”? (Ctrl+F4) .Oh sorry!I will find more problems soon.Till then InType rules!!!

(the cobalt theme of Intype is notable.)

Cheap web hosting template ($10)

Back when we started we had a client by the name hostrs.com. It was a web hosting company and needed a redesign package. Unfortunately they shut down their service and sold the domain and server.

This collection of theme were prototypes for their new design. Now, we are offering these themes as premium templates and are available at a very low cost.

Starting from 10$.

Evolution into a web developer.

I am a windows application programmer…i don’t know whether i can boast about it anymore? The first few years of my programming life were concentrated around visual basic and windows application development. Back then i didn’t have an internet connection(, probably one of the bigger reasons why i evolved away from being one). I created a few applications based on some loose codes from planetsourcecode.com. I really enjoyed it! Every bit of code. I was very inquisitive of the how the softwares were made and that led me into a very simple but exciting world of VB. (I was 14 back then.)

Once i got older (and when i got an internet connection) , i did sense a migration into a much more wider, more reachable platform..the web itself. I was truly inspired by lots of wonderful websites from various design showcases including webcreme, cssremix, cssmania etc. Soon i was exercising my artistic talents and was frantically trying to learn the skills of many accomplished designers. (I used to go ‘wowwwwww.’ seeing some of the websites created by avalonstar.) My entry into professional web development was marked by the founding of Opdyne; a group of young developers, designers, and programmers.

Opdyne has now evolved into a professional firm offering many design solutions with decent quality.(We won’t blab about exquisite designs now as we are still learning.) Now that i look back i find it very difficult to understand whether i would have become an accomplished developer. A few applications like a hapless media player(Neu + Media Player), a CD/DVD indexing software(Thikset) are not enough to make one an expert in that field. Another of my ventures in application development was a CD presentation maker for an event including features like video encryption, authentication module , a fully featured media player , a scriptable interface with advanced skinning options(XTOOP CD).

Just because i am spending all my energy in web development these days doesn’t mean i am done with my old passion. I hope i will be able to complete , many of what i still want to achieve in that field.Presently there are lots of things to finish in Opdyne with release of LF and many other projects slated on immediate dates. Later!

Releasing Soon….

Media Player

NEU PLUS Thikset is all set to be released as a beta edition.

Thikset is a CD indexer that allows you to create virtual drives of your entire CD collection. What more..?You can create, search, bookmark, send your CD collections.

Some features include>>

  • Well you may ask Why ,what’s the use..?With the content and data transferred to a person ever increasing, people tend to backup their data into CD’s or even DVD’s(Bluray??..It has to wait..).So what we are going to do..If someone asks you to get him a file named ‘cheatbook2004.txt’.Well it is a small file which may run into justs KBs.Finding it in your 500 CDs can take a lot of work..So there goes.If you have Thikset in your system tray…CLICK IT..SEARCH for ‘cheatbook2004.txt’ and voila..You found your CD..
  • Encryption:Standard encryption of the database files ensure that all your CD collection data is secure and protected.
  • BackUP/Restore:What database software is complete without a backup/restore function?.The best thing is.. indexing 500 CD’s can create a backup file of just 1.44 MB.(Heard about such figures..?).Yes,it can be stored in good old floppies.
  • Favorites,Bookmarks:Just like you bookmark or add a webpage to the favorite websites,Thikset allows you to do the same with your favorite files or folder..Ain’t that cool.
  • Send to a Friend:If you want to share what you have with your friends..all you got to do is press a button called ’share’.It will prompt you for the recipient’s email address…and in no time will he recieve your entire file list..This feature is not necessary..Some may question us ..To those comments we remark…Imagine a situation where one of your friends want a set of .mp3s.He can search for it in the friend’s circle tab. This allows him to know who has which all files.Well.Well..What did you say?You have files of a sensitive nature…hmm..No worries because Thikset has a unique file settings option. This allows you to make sure you don’t add such files into the share bucket..

So if you are interested please comment to this post or simply mail me and let me know.We will deploy a beta edition for you..Absolutely FREE!!!
